Having performance problems that nobody could explained, I checked my injector codes in the hope that it would explain the difficulties the engines had to rev and its lack of power.

One of the possible culprits for a misfire or loss of power on a td5 engine is oil making its way along the wiring harness to the ECU. One way to check that you have the problem is to unplug the red connector on the ECU and check for the presence of oil there. Small amounts of oil can produce the symptoms (conversely sometimes lots of oil doesn't have any effect).
